What to Expect at your First Visit

Before your first visit:

• Call to schedule your new patient appointment.  419-478-0303
• Contact your insurance company for chiropractic/acupuncture coverage.
• Download the new patient forms and complete them before you arrive.

At the time of your appointment:

 Bring your insurance cards with you.
Plan on approximately one hour for your first appointment.
The Doctor will complete a comprehensive examination, this may include x-rays.
A plan of care will be developed and the doctor will discuss this plan with you.
Co-pays are expected at the time of your visit.

On your first visit:

1.   Case history is recorded
            Case History reveals to us the nature of your complaint/condition.

2.   Evaluation/Examination consists of orthopedic, neurological and chiropractic tests will be performed.
             Your evaluation will integrate the triad of health:

• Structural (posture evaluation and muscle testing)
• Chemical (nutritional evaluation)
• Emotional (consideration for your emotional state is an important part in restoration of your body to optimal health)
  
  

 3.   Proper x-rays will be administered. 
               These x-rays will indicate to the doctor the severity of your condition and are used to determine the course and method of your treatment. 

4.   Your first Chiropractic Treatment
                     Treatment options at our office may consist of:

• Spinal manipulation
• SOT (Sacral Occipital Technique - pelvic passive traction blocking procedures)
• Extremity adjusting
• Visceral/organ manipulation
• Nutritional recommendation
• Therapeutic Exercise
• Physiotherapy modalities, such as laser treatments and inferential therapy.
• Orthotic

Our office is equipped to easily meet your financial needs.  All you have to do is call and make an appointment. Upon arriving at our office and filling out the usual forms our accounts manager will assist you with in finding a means of payment. Just ask how.
